An active winter!

Skiing and snowboarding

Do you like the idea of gliding down slopes covered in beautiful fresh snow? San Vigilio is right at the foot of the Plan de Corones ski area, with its well-groomed slopes and modern ski lifts. And we’re also within easy reach of the famous Sellaronda ski circuit. N.B.: from your chalet you’ll get a wonderful view of the famous “Erta”: the black slope on Plan de Corones, used for the giant slalom race during the world cup.

Winter fairytale

Winter in the Val Badia has lots to offer away from the ski slopes. A winter walk or a snowshoe hike up to a mountain hut are special ways to enjoy this fabulous natural setting. Or would you like to whizz down a toboggan run, or perhaps go cross-country skiing? Yes, that sounds great! And if you’d like to go on a ski mountaineering tour, we can offer you some advice.

Zipline oder Beach?

Looking for a very special adrenaline rush? The zipline at San Vigilio is one of the longest and highest in Europe. Hanging on a steel cable more than 100 metres above the ground, you fly above the valley. It’s definitely a once in a lifetime experience!

There’s a lovely spot just few minutes away from Chalet Les Ciases. “Ciamaor” beach is a wonderful place for the whole family to relax and enjoy many activities right by the river.

Cycling adventures in the Dolomites

This area of the Dolomites offers a huge number of cycle paths and trails, to meet every need and desire. Those who just like pedalling along in the mountain breeze can follow the path by the San Vigilio river, while expert cyclists can embark on a high-altitude tour lasting several days. Our tip for an exciting ride? The descent from Plan de Corones along one of the many downhill trails.
